-Assist employees with selecting and enrolling in benefits during onboarding or open enrollment periods.

-Provide guidance on available plans, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.

-Process benefit applications, changes, and terminations in a timely manner.

-Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.

-Educate employees on plan options, coverage details, and cost implications.

-Resolve employee issues related to claims, eligibility, and coverage.

Vendor and Carrier Coordination

-Liaise with insurance carriers, retirement plan providers, and other benefit vendors.

-Ensure accurate and timely communication between the organization and benefit providers.

-Review vendor contracts and negotiate terms to optimize cost and service quality.

Compliance and Reporting

-Maintain compliance with benefit-related regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.

-Prepare and file required reports (e.g., 1095-C forms, 5500 forms).

-Conduct internal audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Benefit Administration

-Manage benefit systems and software to ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping.

-Monitor benefit deductions, contributions, and reimbursements for accuracy.

-Track employee eligibility for benefits based on employment status and hours worked.

Open Enrollment Management

-Plan and execute the annual open enrollment process.

-Update and distribute benefit materials to employees.

-Assist employees with system navigation and completing enrollment forms.

Leave and Disability Management

-Administer leave policies (e.g., FMLA, parental leave) and disability programs.

-Coordinate with employees and providers to process claims and ensure compliance.

-Track and document leave usage and eligibility.

Training and Development

-Conduct benefit orientations and training sessions for employees.

-Provide ongoing updates about benefit changes or new offerings.

-Train HR and payroll staff on benefit processes and policies.

Continuous Improvement

-Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

-Gather employee feedback to identify areas for improvement in benefit programs.

-Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction.
